How Your NXT Labs Results Are Delivered

What happens after your blood draw: when results are typically ready, how to access them in the patient portal, and what NXT Labs does and does not do with your results.

Step by step

  1. 1. Order online.

Choose a panel and check out. You receive an order confirmation email. New customers also get an email with a link to create a portal password. Some orders need follow-up; in those cases the receipt says to wait for confirmation before visiting a collection site.

  2. 2. Get your requisition and visit a collection site.

The requisition arrives by email within 24 hours. It is also downloadable from order details in the patient portal. The confirmation email links to a collection-site appointment page. Walk-in collection is available at 2,000+ sites nationwide; at-home collection is not available.

  3. 3. Sample is tested.

A CLIA-certified lab performs the tests.

  4. 4. Results become available.

Results are typically available 48–72 hours after your collection is completed; timing can vary. Timing starts when collection is completed, not when you order.

  5. 5. Status updates.

You receive SMS and email status updates as your order progresses.

  6. 6. Sign in to the patient portal.

Sign-in uses email, date of birth, and password.

  7. 7. Verify before viewing details.

Before you can see results details or download a PDF, the portal emails a 6-digit verification code. The code is required again when the verified access period expires.

  8. 8. View your results.

The results page shows lab-reported markers with values, units, and reference ranges when supplied, and flags “Above lab range” / “Below lab range”. It can show markers not yet reported. Results can be preliminary or final.

  9. 9. Download or share.

Every order includes a downloadable PDF lab report. Customers can share the PDF themselves. Results stay available in the portal indefinitely.

What you receive

  • Lab-reported markers for your panel, with values, units, and reference ranges when the lab supplies them.
  • Flags labeled “Above lab range” or “Below lab range” (lab range flags only — not a diagnosis).
  • Markers that may still be pending (not yet reported).
  • Status as preliminary or final.
  • A downloadable PDF lab report (every order).

Delays and support

Timing can vary. Support is email only: info@nxtlabs.us, Monday–Friday 8am–6pm ET.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel and receive a full refund any time until sample collection is completed at the lab. Email info@nxtlabs.us with your order number. Refunds go to the original payment method and take 5-7 business days to fully process. After collection, the order is no longer eligible for a refund unless we cannot process the sample or deliver results because of an error on our side or the lab's. An order that is not collected within 30 days of purchase expires with no refund. See the refund policy.

Privacy

Stripe processes payments; NXT Labs does not store full card numbers. Results and PDFs are viewable only in your authenticated account with an emailed code. Coaches do not receive lab results without separate authorization. Delete your account in the iPhone app or by emailing support; some records may be retained for legal obligations. See /privacy.

Age requirement

The purchaser must be 18 years of age or older to order from NXT Labs.
